    常常好奇点解你有甘多时间影呢D照片...你有去体传圣火吗?我回公司体了,中山六路段,那天顺便逛了周围的小路,可能体力问题，没能走进更深入的地方...

    那个度假村在花都,是朋友的亲戚开的,有兴趣可以去玩玩哦,挺不错啊...

    GB也是朋友呢，其实你会看到连续的都系一块地方，都系用些休息时间一次走完拍完。
    那天在办公室里没有看到，只是收到朋友们现场的沸腾声音～
    讲起中山六就肉酸，穿了一半的衣服。。。有时间可以一起慢慢行下呢！

  • i remember when i was little, there's always momentum to back me up for looking for aging streets and lanes, old yet unique architectural houses and hanging around those shabby places in gz and trying to find out more of the past time for selfrecognised being a cantonese and thought it nice just like u, but somehow that was the time. when getting older, "when time flies" u can say, things go different, "cantonese" no longer stays in my mind or other born-70's or alike anymore; we r unable to see or, catch the fading images/spirit which can provide evidence to remind us of what it used to be like or, look like, gz is leaving us and it seems there's little we can do abt but to try our effort to take/save as many images as we could to file up our own digital collective memories, it looks positive or meaningful yet it sounds pity and awesome to me, not because it is more like watching a dying old man and together to shoot his last face but, we dont intend to offer our hands to bring him back or extend his life somewhere, someway! sometimes i stupidly think it feasible to write down to the law that every building should be built/designed by adopting/taking all the southern architectural features into account other than copying some ready-made western modules, since for years testified it proved work, especially for gd area and fit the southern climate so well and, that'll be totally southern; thus the southern architectural spirit remains in this way. it must be some bigwigs out there who have the power to do sth, financially or politically, but they just calm down!.... i believe as years go on, when i'm asked where i'm from, i'll say i'm from a place once called, canton, i guess. once.

    Just like yr saying, many 70's - 80's memories or older is fading in our mind. All are including those featured buldings , old lanes, 70's-80's shops, many stuffs hv disappeared some or can not re-born under the step of fast developing Canton.

    I think what i can only do is to capture the rest image of our city (or what i'm interesting in are those related to old / nowaday images ), which can bring me back to my early years , dribs and drabs are precious to me as I hv no idea when it will be ruined by somehow reason in no time which still being today, though times limited or I can not reach for some I hvn't call in,

    Actually what's call the original image of ""cantonese" is seldom can be found , the reality here just only the shape but for the soul of " original cantonese".

    More commercial activities are rusting our city or ignored those unvalueable( for money level) shabby lanes,
    buldings to re-construct the old area in a profit way,even in a illegal way.

    The law only protect those single cultural relics but for the related area ( just like the 骑楼) is limited,

    As we can not bite the module by european absolutely reasoned to it maybe diffcult to keep the balance in major developing orientation in Canton recently (by superficial saying) . However they ignore our own culture in a long term developing strategy. I also hope some bigwig can open his eyes on this not only the physics developing.

    Anyway I just do the limited thing for record down this so late, which may only keep my nostalgia is enough
    as I love GZ.
